Jack Regan

Group Executive, Advice and New Zealand

Jack has been with AMP in Australia and New Zealand for the past 18 years and chairs and serves as a director and member of a number of subsidiaries within the AMP Group. He leads AMP Limited’s Advice and Direct businesses and has responsibility for AMP’s operations in New Zealand.

Jack was Managing Director of AMP in New Zealand for 10 years and became a New Zealand citizen in May 2013. He has graduate and post-graduate qualifications in marketing, education and the securities industry and has worked in distribution, marketing and operational roles at St. George Bank, IOOF and GIO as well as Hillross. Jack started working life as a teacher and has since spent more than 30 years in financial services.

Blair Vernon

Managing Director, AMP New Zealand

Blair joined AMP in 2009 and became Managing Director in January 2017. Blair was previously AMP’s Director Retail Financial Services, responsible for sales, customer service, marketing and supporting AMP's extensive Adviser business networks including Spicers and AdviceFirst. He has also held roles with AMP as Director of Advice & Sales and General Manager Marketing and Distribution. Blair has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services and has held a number of executive roles within the industry, including with Bank of New Zealand and NAB.

Therese Singleton

General Manager
Advice & Sales

Therese has held a number of senior legal and compliance roles in the financial services industry specialising in pensions and superannuation, before joining AMP in 2003, and appointed to General Counsel in 2008.

Therese led the due diligence for the acquisition of the AXA business in New Zealand, which included the Commerce Commission approval of the transaction. She also led the first phase of the integration of the two businesses before returning to the General Counsel role for the merged entity. Most recently, Therese led AMP’s Investment and Insurance teams responsible for AMP’s superannuation, investment and insurance products.

Chris Robb

Chief Information Officer

Chris has an extensive background in the IT industry and has held senior leadership roles across technology and finance organisations for more than 15 years, including leading technology teams at ASB, IAG, Genesis Energy, and ANZ.

During his career, Chris has been responsible for a wide range of system transformations, new product introductions and Digital innovation.

His portfolio at AMP includes Technology, Programme Management Office and Commercial Services.

Simon Hoole

Chief Financial Officer

Simon has more than 20 years of experience in financial services. He joined AMP in 1998 as Finance Planning Manager in Australia and subsequently took over the role of Financial Controller and then Group Finance Director in 2008, before moving to New Zealand and becoming Chief Financial Officer in 2014.

Before joining AMP, Simon started his accounting career with Deloitte Haskins & Sells in the UK, before moving to Australia in 1986. Still with Deloitte, Simon spent two years in Papua New Guinea and in 1995, became Financial Controller for MLC Lifetime Limited.

Simon is responsible for AMP’s finance teams, including actuarial and claims.

Mark Ennis

Chief Executive Officer, AdviceFirst & Managing Director, Spicers

Mark has over 20 years’ senior management experience in financial services, including leadership positions in strategy, marketing, customer service and technology. He is responsible for AMP’s associated businesses of Spicers and AdviceFirst, that help individuals, families and businesses with all types of insurance, KiwiSaver, investment plans, home loans and more. Mark holds a First Class Honours Business Studies degree from Massey University, majoring in Marketing.

Shaun Philp

General Manager
Human Resources

Shaun has led the Human Resources team at AMP New Zealand since October 2012. He has more than 15 years of experience in Human Resources and holds a B.Com in Marketing and International Business. Shaun’s career with AMP has spanned over eight years including three years in our Sydney office as Head of Leadership, Learning and Development. His experience also includes executive human resources experience in the telecommunications and media sector.

Elaine Campbell

General Legal Counsel

Elaine has over 20 years of legal experience and has extensive experience within the finance sector. She commenced her career as a solicitor for Kensington Swan before gaining experience in both the UK and USA. She has held senior positions for NZX Limited, New Zealand Markets Disciplinary Tribunal and prior to joining AMP was Director of Compliance for the Financial Markets Authority.

During her career, Elaine has lead major transformational programmes including the development and implementation of licensing and supervision regulation for financial market participants.

Elaine was awarded a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Canterbury.

Michael Beattie

Head of Strategy and Delivery

Michael has over 15 years’ experience in senior strategy development and implementation roles within the financial services industry, in New Zealand and Australia. Michael leads the design and delivery of AMP’s business strategy and led the transition of AMP’s wealth management business into the Financial Markets Conduct regime.

Helen McDowall

General Manager, Customer Service

Helen has spent more than 20 years working in financial services institutions both in New Zealand and Australia. Over that period she has worked in product development and a number of customer services and operations roles. Helen joined AMP in 2011 to lead the investment product and customer service teams and was appointed to her current role in 2015.

Jeff Ruscoe

General Manager, Product and Marketing

Jeff started with AMP in 2002 and has held a number of roles including General Manager Customer Services and Chief Customer Officer. Jeff is responsible for serving AMP’s customers through its strategy, marketing, retention and product teams.

Jeff’s career in financial services includes roles in strategy, sales, distribution and product at AMP and marketing and investment roles at the Medical Assurance Society and the Public Trust.
