Our business areas

The work we do

A company the size of ours is the sum of smaller yet equally successful parts, and within each of these divisions you'll find a multitude of opportunities. You'll also discover that each shares the same goal - helping AMP customers own tomorrow.

We hire across all of our functions:

Actuarial The Actuarial team is responsible for the pricing and reserving of AMP's products and services. The team ensures AMP is appropriately funded to meet customer obligations and manages pricing to meet both customer needs and shareholder requirements.
Advice and sales The Advice and Sales business unit is responsible for delivering accessible and personalised advice through AMP's sales channels. Advice and Sales partners with Advisers and distributors to ensure they bring the right knowledge, expertise and guidance so New Zealanders can own their tomorrows.
Customer

The Customer Marketing business unit works across the organisation to deliver customer solutions that help our customers achieve a better tomorrow. They do this by providing a leading digital experience, offering relevant customer campaigns and most importantly helping customers understand AMP and how we can help.

The Customer Marketing business unit consists of the Customer Experience, Strategy, Retention, Digital and Brand & Marketing teams.

Customer, Technology, Solutions and Services (CTSS) Currently comprised of 230 people across the Operations, Claims, IT and Project Management Office & Change sections of AMP. They maintain a close relationship with our key regulators and ensure that AMP's disclosure documents are accurate and timely for our customers. They also review the advice provided by Advisers to make sure that the advice is appropriate, and intervene when it is not.
