The AMP Ethical Balanced Fund goes much further than excluding companies that may harm our society.
It seeks out and works with companies who are making a positive difference in the environmental, social and governance (ESG) space and has provided good financial returns in the last couple of years.

How it works

This fund is designed to help you align your ethical beliefs with our investment expertise. It aims to make the world better environmentally and a fairer society. It does this by:

What it gives you

It’s made good returns

Last year it had an annual return of 15.91% (as at 31 December 2019, after total fund charges but before tax). Remembering that future performance isn't guaranteed.

Expertise in the area

We work with a team of ethical investment specialists with over 17 years’ experience, so you don’t need to compromise.

It helps change how our world works

In 2018, the underlying fund managers asked some of the most powerful companies in the world to do things differently on this fund's behalf, like paying garment workers in Bangladesh a living wage; improving the safety of miners in Brazil; asking the world’s largest social media companies to do more to prevent the live streaming and distribution of objectionable content; joining forces with 320 investors who have US$33 trillion of assets under management to ask companies to adopt robust goals to reduce the impact of climate change
