Tradies and homeowners at risk without liability insurance

22 June 2016

Does your tradie have liability insurance?

There's a building boom going on driven by the Canterbury rebuild, along with the demand for housing and infrastructure in Auckland which means there is a shortage in skilled labour.

Whether you're a tradie under pressure to deliver a housing project, or a customer working with a tradie on your home improvements, it pays to ensure a decent level of liability insurance is in place in case of damage to property or personal injury.

Ask your tradie if they have liability insurance, or if you're running your own business, ensure your insurance covers you if disaster strikes.
