We take a long-term approach to investing - prioritising sustainable growth and stability for our members. We provide simple, accessible & sustainable index tracking managed funds. Our funds aim for market returns, while keeping investment costs down for our members.

What changed in 2021?

In 2021 we reshaped our investment strategy, moving to a core index-led approach run by our New Zealand-based team. The goal was to simplify the way we invest, lower costs, and improve investment outcomes for our customers.

As part of this transformation, AMP appointed BlackRock® to provide key investment management services across all AMP-branded funds. Their global expertise supports our asset allocation and portfolio management, while we retain full control over our overall investment strategy.

This is why, when we show how our funds have performed, we focus on the period since 2021: it reflects how the funds are managed today. Performance from earlier periods reflects a different investment approach. As with any investment, how our funds have performed in the past doesn't always show how they'll do in the future, returns can go up or down, and nothing is guaranteed.

Investing isn’t one size fits all. That's why we offer a variety of investment options from leading investment and fund managers. This gives you more options to pick from, depending on what works best for you.
