What is greenID and what information does it use?
GreenID is a service provided by GBG (Australia) Pty Ltd. GBG collects your personal information on behalf of AMP Services (NZ) Limited.
The personal information, comprising a picture of your identity document, a picture of your face and your address, is held by GBG (on behalf of AMP) for a maximum of 30 days from the date of collection, after which time it is deleted. AMP also holds this personal information.

About the ID checking process
The ID check only takes a few minutes. We’ll walk you through the process but you just need to take a photograph of your ID and a selfie and we can do an online ID verification to help you join faster.
It helps if you have your phone handy as your phone can take better photos than other devices, which will help in getting your documents confirmed quickly.
