It's important that you're kept informed about the products you have with us and provided with an overview of the options that are available in relation to your existing policy or policies.

AMP's comprehensive Product Options Guides (June 2013) provide detailed information about options on the following policy and plan types:

AMP Life (formerly National Mutual Life Association (NMLA))

The products listed below have been separated from those above because they were previously issued by NMLA.  However, as a result of a transfer of the life insurance business of NMLA to AMP Life that we received approval from the Australian and New Zealand regulators to proceed with, they are now issued to AMP Life.  The transfer took effect on the 1st Janurary 2017 and did not result in any changes to the terms and conidtions of the products.  Accordingly, the product option guides below and the products benefits contained within are still applicable:

How to use the Guides

Dependent on the type of policy or plan you own, there are two Product Option Guides that you can download and use for your reference. Both the 'AMP Product Options Guide' and the 'AMP Life (formerly NMLA) Product Options Guide' will help you find out more about a particular option, details of how each option may affect the insurance cover and/or savings under your policy or plan, steps required to exercise each option on your policy or plan and where to find more information, including forms and illustrations.

Requesting an option on your policy or plan

If, after reading your Guide, you wish to receive advice or take up an option, please talk to your Adviser in the first instance. It is important that you receive advice that is relevant to your individual situation, taking into account your current and future needs and goals.

Additionally, you may require more information, such as an illustration showing the change to your policy or plan premium, or the change in policy sum insured and/or estimated maturity value (if applicable). Some options may also require completion of the required form. In most cases, your Adviser can provide this information and discuss the process with you.
