Temporary accommodation for tenants

 

Should an event occur at the insured address and you are unable to live there while it is being repaired or rebuilt, we will pay extra rent costs for temporary accommodation for you, provided that you supply us with your written tenancy agreement showing the rent that you pay at the insured address.

 

Food and medication spoilage

 

If an insured event occurs, we will cover up to $500 for spoilage of refrigerated food, frozen food and refrigerated medicines.

Contents in transit

 

If you are permanently moving to a new address in New Zealand, your contents are covered while they are being moved for loss or damage caused by fire, flood, accident or theft of the vehicle carrying them.

 

Visitors contents

 

Up to $500 cover for the loss or damage to contents owned by visitors a result of an event.
